Rick Vance called me to tell me of his father's death yesterday.  Can you make a place on the web site for "us" to add things like this one.  Will you please put this on the site (somewhere).

 

Fellow Vance researcher and cousin, Paul P. Vance, passed away on Father's Day 2004.

Paul was born 27 Feb 1923 in Lebanon, Russell County, Va.  He was predeceased by his wife, Marguerite and leaves 2 sons, Phil and Rick, and 2 daughters, Joan and Paula to mourn him.

Paul will be buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Bangor, ME.

Paul's Vance line was (1) Abner and Susannah  (2) William and Nancy (3) James Howard and Elizabeth McGlothlin (4) William P. and Elizabeth Jackson and his parents were

(5) Henry P. and Cillar Miller.

 

We are leaving here in a little while for Indiana, Jim's brother passed away yesterday, also.
